let them take youDisengage by w.c. pelon
for your money
for your heart
even for
the body
part
let them have
the lion's share
of all
and hide
what's left
in iridescent dreams
and milk-white
memories
of who we are
and what
could be

this is seriously awesome.
where do you find all of these great poems?
Thanks.
I spend some time searching around names of poets I've heard of. One link leads to another which leads to another...
Sometimes friends will show me excellent pieces. Also, book stores.
yeah i kindof figured.
i love the stuff you pick.
each poem is so simple but it means so much.
Thank you :) I'm glad you see what I do in this poetry.
